Uses for Spearmint essential oil.
- Spearmint is believed to be the oldest plant of the Mint family and has been used traditionally for its digestive benefits. Spearmint Essential Oil is multi-purpose and it continues to be used to soothe ailments such as skin problems, headaches, nausea, vomiting, respiratory issues, and cold symptoms
- Adding a few drops in your bath water can help relieve muscle pains and fatigue. It can also be invigorating. Use in conjunction with your your favourite massage oil, or include spearmint oil in your go-to massage oil blend to help relieve muscle spasms.
- Apply a diluted solution on insect bites and other skin conditions to relieve itching.
- Spearmint essential oil can be used to great effect on your hair and your scalp. Spearmint is naturally anti-fungal and antibacterial nature, making it an effective treatment for certain scalp conditions including dandruff. The cooling menthol also makes it an excellent remedy for itching and dryness.
